ANNUAL EVENTS Annual Physician Appreciation Reception Mendocino Coast Hospital Foundation celebrates the dedication and commitment of our physicians with our Physicians Appreciation Reception. This event is held in late March and honors the outstanding contributions of our physicians in the health and well being of our residents and the many visitors to the Mendocino coast.
911 Raffle The 911 Raffle is the primary fundraiser for Mendocino Coast Hospital’s Ambulance Service. Because of our remote location in Mendocino County, it is extremely important that we continue to develop the most efficient and effective ambulance service possible. By participating in the 911 Raffle you help to provide complete ambulance coverage and vital emergency services for you and your neighbors.

Your support of the 911 Raffle makes it possible for OUR Ambulance Service to be there when you need them. Annual Donor Appreciation Reception In appreciation of donor support during the year, we invite hospital donors to join us for our Donor Appreciation Reception at the Ledford House in Albion. Enjoy fabulous appetizers and wine while viewing the donated Winesong! art, including painted bottles, wines boxes, sculptures and paintings. Barrel Tasting Sip your way through history at the Little River Inn on the panoramic Mendocino coast. Experience library wines, new releases and barrel samples of Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. Winesong! is a nationally recognized charity wine auction and tasting produced by the Mendocino Coast Hospital Foundation. Proceeds are used to enhance equipment, facilities and services at the Mendocino Coast District Hospital. The Medical Evacuation Helipad, Out Patient Surgical services and Emergency Department Equipment are just a few of the vital areas that Winesong funds have enhanced. Since 1985 Winesong has raised over $4 million for improvements in local healthcare.
Winesong is attended by more than 1,100 guests from 28 states, who come together to make this one of the most spectacular events on the West Coast. The popularity of this prestigious event guarantees a sellout crowd every year and creates a festive atmosphere in the beautiful Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. Winesong has raised over $4 million for improvements in local healthcare.
