We Need Nurses!

Every patient deserves health care!

Yet, many local hospital, clinic, and nursing home beds on the Mendocino Coast sit empty today. Why? Because we simply don’t have enough nurses to care for patients. The national nursing shortage deeply impacts our community—and rising costs of education, local affordable housing and other life expenses makes it difficult to prioritize a career in health care.

That’s where the Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation comes in. From funding scholarships to helping find local housing, our team is doing everything possible to make sure nurses have what they need to come to the coast and care for our community!

We invite you to join us with a gift to help change the future of health care on the Mendocino Coast—so that our loved ones and neighbors have lifesaving local care when they need it the most.

For questions or to make a gift by phone, please contact Mary Kate McKenna at 707-961-4671.
