The Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation is dedicated to overcoming issues that make it difficult to recruit and keep nurses on the Coast—like the rising costs of education and lack of local affordable housing.
In late July, we learned that eight traveling nurses urgently need housing in order to begin their contracts with Adventist Health Mendocino Coast! Our MCHFoundation Board is spearheading a fundraising effort with the goal of raising $5,000 before these nurses join our community on Friday, August 12.
Will you join us with a gift to help cover housing costs for these nurses? Each $100 donation pays for a one-night stay, thanks to discounted rates from our local lodging partners—and helps us attract talented nurses to care for local patients during this intense hiring climate.
